A portfolio is probably at the top of your list to become a model, but before clicking on the 'portfolio' page or contacting a modelling agency take some basic steps and have your pals check you out.
An easy check to see if you have what it takes to become a model is to have a friend take some colour pictures of you with no makeup, natural hair, and wearing close fitting clothes (shorts and tee shirt or a swimsuit are good).
The images should be against a white background and need to include photographs of your face (smiling and not smiling) and a full body shot.
If you think you look good and more importantly your friends agree, you are on the first step of the ladder! Remember you CAN become a model
